Agile for CIMB Niaga (Batch 3)

We had 3-day Essential Agile training (Batch 3) for CIMB Niaga on 13-15 February 2020 organized by PT Sinergi Daya Mitra.

It was a great moment to see so many agile enthusiasts from CIMB Niaga team who had learned that agile is not only about framework such as scrum and kanban, but also the mindset has to shift as well. In fact, it is the foundation of agile. And a lot of participants have figured out what can be improved on their organization in term of efficiency and effectiveness.

I hope that the spirit and the huge potential from the team will spread out in CIMB Niaga and make the organization more efficient and more agile!

What a great occasion at Public Lecture “Introducing Agile Development Method” for STMIK Bandung on 8 February 2020! I definitely enjoyed my time on campus and met many young enthusiasts IT students who are about to start with their thesis. The Misunderstood Agile

IT PMO Training for Mubadala Petroleum

We had 4-day IT PMO training for Mubadala Petroleum on 8-9 November and 20-21 December 2019. I was happy to meet enthusiasts participants and we had long discussion about agile mindset, cross-functional team, and how agile can be implemented in oil and gas company (which is possible). We also learned a lot about WBS, project scheduling tools (MS Project and Trello), communication and people skill.

I really enjoyed the time spent with Mubadala team and hope that it can improve the skill of the team! Good luck guys!

Agile Project Management (Public Class)

We had 2-day Agile project management training on 18-19 December organized by Avenew Indonesia. It’s always exciting to meet new people with different background but with the same agile mindset.

We learned that Scrum is just one of many methods of agile mindset which comes from lean thinking and consists of 4 values and 12 principles. Lean thinking puts the people first, then the system. Therefore, we delved into the agile mindset and discussed a lot about the value and principles which might be contrary to our practices or habits.

I hope what we have learned can help the participants to bring the value to their companies and try to introduce agile mindset in the work environment. Good luck!

Kick-Off Meeting PMO Setup at IYKRA

I can’t be more excited to kick-off PMO setup project at one of Indonesian startup companies with very bright future, IYKRA. The company’s vision is to build an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Talent Ecosystem in Indonesia and it is packed with millennials that makes the project even more interesting.

As IYKRA business grows, the project delivery must meet and maintain quality standard that can only be possible if certain procedure being followed. With that in mind, I am happy to help and support IYKRA to meet the objective.

Fundamental Project Management for Bank Jabar Banten (BJB)

It was an exciting 3-day training with Bank Jabar Banten (BJB) from IT Development Program Batch 2 on 9-11 December 2019, organized by Duta Kuningan.

We learned that project management is an art that is becoming more and more into people skill. Not only we discussed about classical technique such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Critical Path Method for scheduling, but we also talked about motivation theory, leadership, public speaking, and agile project management, and discovered that project management is no longer considered as hard skill, but rather soft skill that your own experience will help you to grow.

I definitely enjoyed the time spent at BJB and hope that it can improve the skill of the team! Good luck for the exam, guys!
