Agile Project Management for Niometrics

We had our project closing meeting at Niometrics by conducting Agile Project Management Training on 30 October 2019.

Mostly millennials on their workplace who were very eager to learn agile and it was really exciting to see them work in the team how they discovered that teamwork is the foundation the work quick. They also learned why waterfall approach comes short in software development project and therefore, we need to adopt agile for our project.

I hope the Niometrics will continue their success in Indonesia and globally!

Giving Motivation to Students before Going Abroad

I was lucky enough to share my experiences during my study in Germany and Singapore to the high-school graduates who plan to study abroad to Germany, France, and UK organized by Euro Management on 28 October 2019.

Agile for BNI

We had 3-day Agile Project Management training for IT Development team from Bank BNI on 21-23 October 2019 organized by Thames Center.

I was really happy to meet such great participants who were really into Agile and they learned that Agile mindset is the foundation to implement scrum or whatever approach they might choose.

In the end, I hope that BNI team will be able to implement scrum in much better way and never forget that teamwork is everything in agile. And more importantly, agile is not to work faster, but more efficient by eliminating waste.

Lean Culture for Endress+Hauser

I can’t be prouder to be invited to Endress+Hauser Indonesia Marketing Conference on 15 October 2019 at Ciawi. I was there to share my knowledge about lean, its value, and how efficient we can become by creating lean culture in our organization environment.

While most organizations still face challenges to increasing productivity because of working in silo, we learned that by closely working together we can achieve more, this is what we call a self-organizing team! And not only that, we were able to figure out that we could achieve more and eliminate waste with the same number of resources and surprisingly, in less time.

I hope that the lean culture will be successfully adopted in E+H. This can only be achieved by changing our habits into positive ones, starting today!

Agile for CIMB Niaga (Batch 2)

We had 3-day Essential Agile training (Batch 2) for CIMB Niaga on 3-5 October 2019 organized by PT Sinergi Daya Mitra.

One team has shown a great teamwork and agility, and no surprise they were able to recover from a defeat on day 2 to become the best agile team on the final day! What was the secret? Fail-fast and learn from mistakes. Not only that, other teams have a lot of ideas for agile adoption, which means they already become self-organizing team (solution coming from them, not me.)

I hope that the spirit and the huge potential from the team will spread out in CIMB Niaga and make the organization more efficient and more agile!

Hannover Messe 2020 Kick-Off and Press-Conference

Thanks to Pak Komang Wirawan as the Chairman of Ikatan Alumni Jerman (IAJ) for inviting me to the “Hannover Messe 2020 Kick-Off and Press-Conference” on 3 October 2019 in Hotel Indonesia Kempinski. Some prominent figures were there giving statements:

  • Airlangga Hartarto (Indonesia’s Minister of Industry)
  • Thomas Lembong (Chairman of Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board – BKPM)
  • Dr Jochen Köckler (Chairman of the Managing Board, Deutsche Messe)
  • Peter Schoof (German Ambassador to Indonesia)

I am extremely proud of the fact that Indonesia has been selected as the official partner country (tagline “Making Indonesia 4.0”) for Hannover Messe 2020, which is the world’s largest exhibition for industrial technology and will take place on 20-24 April 2020, in Hannover, Germany.

I hope the huge potential of Indonesia can be more apparent to the world!
